I cannot believe the snow here. It's been snowing on and off since Wednesday, and the temps haven't been above freezing. People are stranded at the airport, there are ICEBERGS on the lakes, and my parents can't make it over the mountains for Christmas. Luckily we have a 4X4 Bronco and hubby put chains on all four tires, so we can at least get around. But I've lived here all my life and I've never seen it this bad. .

The snow is beautiful and it is quite "Christmassy" but you know what? I'm over it. Snow can go bye-bye now.

Saturday, we braved the frozen tundra to get some last minute Christmas shopping done. We stopped by one of my favorite stores, Archie McPhees. Please enjoy some crappy cellphone pictures:

Yep, this is the big man himself, Santa. Shopping at Archie McPhees. He was there was his little helper (a girl with reindeer antlers on her head). I couldn't resist snapping a pic of him on the sly. Frickin Santa, dude!

This is Bibo. Yeah, I don't know either.

GIANT DEVIL HEAD! This thing used to be displayed outside, but it kept getting stolen by pranksters. It now sits in a place of honor in the store.

Anyone else creeped out by mannequins?

And now, a pic from my yard:

Lars the garden gnome is not impressed by this snow.

Lastly, I know you have all been wondering how Buffy the kitten is handling Christmas. Well, she is destroying our tree. She climbs the thing and bats at the ornaments until they fall off and shatter on the windowsill. She's cute though, check her out:

So how are you guys handling this holiday season? Any snow stories?
