We finally got our new washing machine - it got killed around two weeks ago, the most agonizing thing for me is to clean up the place to have space for the thing to go in. (My brother loves making hurricanes in the house, that just simply means even if I have things cleaned up he will mess it up again). I hate the dsicovery of spider corpses around

I had been thinking of how to record it and stuff (plus extra singing again in church on Easter Monday) so it got delayed until today - sorry ^^;
Here you go for the two songs I have mentioned, you can download when you read my text away... XD:

Sorry that the file sizes are big, I recorded them via my phone (Which is in a m4a format and quite small in file size), on my PC you need to turn up the volume to hear it so I tried making it louder in Soundbooth... probably still not loud enough? (I didn't want to use my laptop to record since it has a lot of fan noise...)
No bg music or anything, just me singing with the occasional flaps of paper (to find the lyrics as I sing along) I tried my best, sorry if it sounds bad 8D;
Forget the parts before 'Pardon......' in the first song as we have only finished practicing the first two verses (Yes the second one in a slighter different melody, the summer and winter one)
I only sang it just for my own practice so I'll know what to sing this coming Saturday....
I had to swallow the saliva that built up during singing so that was bad too 8D; (My normal voice sounds funny now that I hear it ugh....)
In the second song there is one sound note that I sang wrong, but I'm not gonna record anymore since I sang it several times to get the one that sounds best (Because it's always due to lack of breath and break sometimes I may miss one proper sound - sorry lol)
The second one is going to be sung in Cantonese, I only sang the English one after it since it sounds good and also you'll know what lyrics I am singing about lol. It's a more happier song compared to the first one which is a calm song.
I'm sure they picked you for the solo because you have a good voice :)
Thanks! Well the music teacher did mention my voice was lovely, just need it to be louder 8D; On Easter Monday, the other group of people that never heard me sang before, some of them said I was good too. So it's a good thing. (I practice with the group on Saturday, there is another group that practice on Mondays, because it was a holiday on Monday they decided to join the two groups together to see how we sound like.)
One thing I found out was that while the first song doesn't need a solo, they still have me and another man to sing alone first (Uh, let's say there are 4 small groups that sing different parts, like I sing the highest, someone else a bit lower, another lower one and then the lowest one.) they said that two people from these four groups have to sing on their own at the first verse, then the whole choir repeats the first verse again. (I'm too lazy to sing the first verse twice since it sounds repetitive without a group)
I dunno how I got stuck in doing semi-solo (Or solo with another male voice) they kept telling me to sing louder - I tried my best (The place isn't good for sound to travel around, it's in a school gym) They should just give me a microphone on the performance day haha 8D; Or get someone else to sing instead of me (Though sadly there is none yet) Oh well, I will let God handle this because I suck at singing louder 8D;
