I look for the source of happiness in tangible objects and situations - the perfect job, body, qualification, partner, home, public status. Yet all of these, once acquired, lose their taste and flavour, all will pass into oblivion and I will have to let go. According to Kadampa Buddhism, real happiness comes from cultivating virtue within - giving, moral discipline, patience, effort, concentration and wisdom.
