A 39-year-old West Bend woman was charged in Washing-ton County Circuit Court Friday for knowingly allowing her 15-year-old daughter to have sex with a boy - while she was home.

The woman was charged with failure to act/sexual assault of a child, which is a class F felony punishable to up to 12 years in prison.

A criminal compliant states the youths had sex more than 30 times this past summer, the majority in the girl’s bedroom while the mother was home.

The matter came to light when the mother of the boy, who is also 15, intercepted letters from the girl.

The boy’s mother confronted the suspect - who is not being named to protect the identity of her daughter - telling her the sexual activity needed to stop, but the mother allegedly responded by saying: "You can’t stop them," adding she would put her daughter on birth control.

The boy’s mother said she confronted the suspect repeatedly about the activity.

In his statement to the West Bend Police Department, the boy told authorities he would sometimes sneak into the girlfriend’s bedroom as early as 4 a.m. and that four or five times the mother allegedly walked into the room but did not say anything, other that they needed to "get up to go to school."

The suspect said she talked to her daughter about "protection," and assumed they had stopped having sex, even after seeing the boy wrapped in blankets during those early morning trysts, because her daughter was fully clothed and was "putting on make-up" at the time.

The suspect was released on a $2,500 signature bond set by Circuit Judge Patrick Faragher.

Her next court appearance is scheduled for Jan. 18 at 2:45 p.m.

How fucked up is THAT?
