I'm a wee bit bored. I'm at my parents house right now, getting brownie stuff ready. I'm singing Girl Guide songs lol. Some of them are great songs for the girls. One of my all time favorites that was sung when i was a kid at every campfire was "On My Honor"
On my Honor I will Try
There's a Duty to be Done
And I say aye
There's a reason here,
For a reason above,
My honor is to try and
My duty is to love
People don't need to know my name
If i hurt someone then I'm to blame
If i help someone then I've helped me
and thats the way that it should be
(back to the begining)
I've tucked away a song or too
if your feeling low, here's one for you
if you need a friend, then I will come
there's many more where i come from.
No matter what the age group is, they can learn this song. Even aduls. Whenever anything bad happens, I sing this song, like for instance when Carlos and Donna got in a fight, when I was in infants by myself I sung this song. Its relaxing, and I'm trying to find the guitar chords or tabs for it to learn. I know there out there somewhere. I know it. Even when you were young in Guiding you'd probably remember it. There's a sheet infront of me. For a celebration coming up, Guidings 100th birthday we have a community campfire, a friend forwarded me the songs to help her sing it. I looked at the names each name kinda popped in my head " Oh i know that! "
ONly ones i don't know I'm looking up, so i don't look like an idiot not singing. Lets see " We who have come here " " Lu La " " Tzena " are one of the ones i don't know.
Girl Guides have weird songs, but we sing them with pride. ^_^ You should see my living room, i kinda covered it with craft stufff.
lol. I'm bored,
