And the silence is broken...

Went busking a couple of weeks ago and a young guy gave me a tenner. It wasn't until I got home that I unfolded it and found a sweet note inside saying how much he liked my playing. Brightened my day a little, at least ;)

Not long to go now until the end of my job, and I can't wait. I'm applying for some things now (publishing/broadcasting) and it's a good feeling. Will be good to have a job that I only need to give a month's notice to get out of! I won't go into it here, but at several points during this last year, I think I might have been bordering on mild depression. I don't think I've ever been quite so unhappy in my life, infact.

Now I have things to apply for, I can feel some of my old optimism returning after a very long vacation. I'm looking forward to going for interviews, and I can't wait to do something different.

Oh, and on a very different note, a friend just introduced me to Jethro Tull, a very strange but very cool kinda hippy folk group... I've been listening to 'The Whistler' and 'The Witch's Promise' on loop.
