Today I went to Sunday school, which I have not done in a few weeks. This was our last Sunday in our old rooms, because we move up a grade this Wednesday. This week, though, there was a band there and we just sang songs for about an hour. And by "we sang songs" I mean all the teenagers just stood up for an hour listening to the band, not singing. I think often times we really overdo the singing part. Last year at Disciple Now the band that was there played for 2 and a half hours straight. I enjoy singing in moderation, but you really want to quit after a while. No one else I see seems to sing much either. I'd much rather hear a sermon. But I suppose contemporary music would be better than 2 and a half hours of hymns.
After Sunday school I didn't go to the worship service, because I had work at 12. I got there 10 minutes early and began my long 5 hour shift. It was only busy for about an hour, and from then on it was very light. I did get to see Mr. Macintyre, my sophomore history teacher. That guy is like teh coolness. Oh, and he is engaged now too! He's one of the teachers I don't want to forget, alongside others like Mrs. Gordon, Mrs. Pickenpaugh, Mrs. Shows, Mr. Watts, and Mrs. Nolen-Collum. All of those teachers gave me interests in their respected subjects. After work, I took a short nap, then played some games, et cetera. I rented Kirby Air Ride the other day. It's an incredibly simple, yet very fun racing game. It'd be like the Super Smash Brothers Melee of racing. The controls do have their setbacks, however. But that'd be boring for my 3 1/2 readers out there, so I won't go into detail. Tomorrow I'm going with Julio to Cups so we can work on our summer reading notecards. I don't have any feelings on the upcoming school year yet. Some relationships will change, I think, considering who I'm in classes with. Some better, some worse. I wonder when...
