God knows why I still love this show, and why I feel the need to write a reaction post defending (yes, defending it) instead of writing a paper on the authentic Walt Whitman... But here goes.

I'm good. To sum up the last few months: I got a job, I quit it for a better paying job, I got fired 3 weeks ago, we bought a house and moved into it last week, and I start law school in November.

How're you? Any chance of an update post at some point?

Wow, it sounds like life was quite interesting for you the past couple of months. I hope you're settling into your new place well! For some reason, I love moving, because then I can find new places for all my things.

I'm doing all right. Writing a paper right now, but I will update soonish with a life-update.

The first episode of season 3 really disappointed me. It seemed obvious that they were just making it up as they went along, following the worst excesses of comic book heroes. I thought the series was supposed to be at least slightly grounded in reality :-/

It's gotten better. First episode was just, I think, trying to prove that it wasn't as bad as season 2. But now, they're really getting into the mysteries, and it's still a little weird, but by episode 5, which aired last night, you find out the reason behind Linderman's reappearance and stuff... Seriously. Try it.

If Linderman isn't real, which we've suspected from the beginning, how does Nathan survive those gunshots?

Hiro, NO! WHY?? Even if he can save Ando, Ando's never going to trust him again. And that prospect makes me so unhappy.

I still love Nathan, even when he insists in sleeping with Ali Larter instead of going out and being obsessed with his brother some more, which is my favorite look on him... But I don't know! Maybe they'll give us an explanation soon for the surviving.
