wierd but true....
last night while leaving work my mobile rang.... Turns out its flaky rat womans mate asking if she can pick up the baby rats tomorrow! no not flaky woman apologising for not having answered the numerous text, phone calls etc etc we left explaining why she couldn't make it last week and apologising to jsut abandoning the rats with me and offering compensation for my time and costs etc... no jsut some random person wanting to pick them up. I said shes have to speak to the rescue.
Jo and I both spoke to sarah and it was decided that this woman is not to have ratties and that I'll take them up when I go to London for xmas and get them to her then.. so i'm up to 7 rats and 4 cages... *sigh* I wear I will never take anyones word as promise again I have been let down to far too many people, who have promised things and then failed to deliver, why is it so hard to keep to your word!
Well its archery today I caught up with some TASA stuff this morning and the boy has just left for the funeral he has to go to* so now I am faced with cleaning a gazillion rat cages out.... Lame! but at least the house will be clean and smell yum again.
I got a letter too this morning from the police saying that my police application for Call handler has been rejected which made me sad... But the next letter said that my police application for Radio Operator has been successful! YAY!!!! I go for the assment centre and interview on the 5th of Jan so fingers crossed!
Right off to get off my butt and get dressed and start cleaning out some stinky furry things!
*his uncles but they werent that close... and we didn't think it was the best time for me to meet his grandparents! so your sons died.... nice to meet you!
