Bah, I missed my Tuesday posting goal yesterday. :/ I was pissed off about work stuff, so it's probably best I didn't make it.
Thing 1: Fringe. The ending. It made me cry about 15 buckets of tears.
Among the theories floating about in this particular household:
- The moment at the end where Peter looks directly at the camera was meant to show that he remembered everything, and was going to get Walter back home.
- If given another season, the writers were going to have to get increasingly meta with the plot. The moment Peter looks directly at the camera is when he realizes they've all just been characters in a well-written teevee show. He and Olivia would have spent Season 6 trying to find the Writers' Room, which, of course, would be staffed with Observers. William Bell would be in charge. (The meta season was Muskrit's idea - I have just run with it for the last few minutes).
- Walter gets to the future and discovers that everyone there takes their nutrition in pill form. He is, as one would expect, quite distraught by this and embarks on a campaign to bring back real food, starting with strawberry milkshakes. (This is also Muskrit's idea. It's my favorite.)
Thing 2: I'm still pissed off about work stuff. I'm attempting to keep my head down and my powder dry, but still pissed off anyway.
I had a Thing 3, but now I'm tired and distracted by the hilarious mental image of Walter being the future savior of strawberry milkshakes.
