our work is never over

I am unbearably slow, but here we go: the Five Things meme, part one. Feel free to request more (actually, I'm encouraging you to), whether or not you did the first time around! I'll get around to all of them, they're ridiculously fun to do.

Five things Kaka wants to tell Sheva but never did and probably never will. Just because I loved that idea too much to let it go. )

drabbles, crack, five things meme, football

Hee. And yay!

I am too busy watching a live-as-replay of Milan/Lazio

wot! please elaborate! windsor September 10 2006, 15:35:26 UTC
Kaka and Sheva are my doomed, high fashion OTP. Speaking of which, I stumbled on some new pictures of Sheva in GQ (I think?) the other week, I should post them.

I am so clueless about Italian football - is the game entertaining so far?

I think he was just there because it was taking place in Italy. blue_ant September 10 2006, 15:43:01 UTC
Is it the British GQ? I have that on my coffee table. I couldn't resist, even if I'm soured on Sheva since he's gone. I adore that pairing so much, too. SIGH.

It's. Well, to me it is. I've got a problem and his name is Massimo Oddo (Lazio). And so every time he or Kaka goes across the little window I've got the game in, I'm all 'KAKA' or 'ODDO' to whoever I am chatting to. Also, Milan won 2-1 and it's fun to watch the players fall down. Or maybe that's just me.

Although I wonder who he would support. :)) windsor September 10 2006, 15:51:49 UTC
Yes! He looks so good, it's ridiculous. The fact that he's at Chelsea is awfully annoying, because I'll never be able to really dislike him, even if he scores against us. :| Damn you, Russian mafia. Can we lure Kaka to the Premiership somehow? They were so lovely together.

I know what you mean; watching Italy during the World Cup, I was all, omg Cannavaro! Pirlo! HI! every few minutes.

it's fun to watch the players fall down.
It's not just you. I love La Liga for their craziness factor, srsly. The drama and diving and handbags are pretty much awesome.

I know! He was talking to a Brazilian driver and, um, Michael Schumacher (I had to look it up). blue_ant September 10 2006, 15:58:36 UTC
AW! I am just, I don't know. I like him when he plays for Ukraine, but it turns out that I really DID like AC Milan and not just Sheva and Kaka. Go figure. I wish he'd go! Hell, I wanted him to go to Real. But I don't really care as much anymore. Especially since I've made myself fall in love with Milan.

HEE. I am not usually as ... Crazy. Though I did get like that when I first saw Theo play for Le Arse this year.

I tried not to like Italy/Italians, but we see how well I did with that one. I am more meh about Spain than Italy now. It's sad but hilarious.

Aw Kaka. I'm now getting Kaka as a racedrive AU thoughts, um. windsor September 10 2006, 16:11:31 UTC
The World Cup certainly gave me a new appreciation for Italians, I'll admit; AC Milan is probably my favorite, too. Also, I will always feel kind of bad for them about that CL final! And, dude, me too - Kaka at Real would've been insane in the best way ever. I wish I had time to support multiple teams, but as it is, I watch Liverpool and Real/Valencia occasionally.

Aw, Theo. I remember all the drama about his signing last year, hopefully he plays a decent amount of minutes this season. Plus, you know, the Saint Georges! :-*

My problem with Spain is that I love a bunch of their players individually, but as a team, they are just. so. incredibly. exasperating. Stop being lame, please. And never let Salgado play again.

I typed driver as diver earlier, so I know that pain. And that'd be a fun AU. blue_ant September 10 2006, 16:15:38 UTC
Not me. I left the World Cup with a HUGE hate-on for them. And now, um. Yeah. I mean, I liked Milan and Gattuso, but now? *shakes head* Glad I'm not the only person who'd have loved Kaka on Real. Hee. As for following multiple teams, it helps that I can't even try to see Dynamo Kyiv and Rosenborg. I just look for results and am happy with that.

Hee. I need to work on the band.

Oh, SPAIN. I can't even, you know, bring myself to be anything but amused that they lost. I feel slightly bad about that, but not really. Too much drama and they beat the Ukraine.
