We've been watching the concerts all day ... in Canada they're on CTV, and there will be a "best of" wrap-up tonight at 8:00 EDT.
These are NOT fundraisers. The tickets have been free, and what

are looking for is political support, not money, to pressure the leaders at the Edinburgh G8 summit later this week.
We *can* make a difference. One has to start somewhere, and these concerts are bringing the interwined issues of 3rd world debt, trade justice, and the long bitter history of broken aid promises to the forefront of people's consciousness -- and consciences -- around the world.
