Welding, Whining, and Woobie!faces.
So we actually got to weld in class this morning. For like five glorious hours. So awesome.
Forgetting that it's basically like working with a miniature sun, complete with a bombardment of UV rays? Not so awesome.
My arms are all weirdly arcburnt and it hurts. Don't have it again until Tuesday, though, which is good because my project to sew some sleeves to give me the appearance of a layered undershirt without actually having the whole bulky layer just got moved up*. I need sleeves by Tuesday, I can;t really afford to go buy a bunch of longsleeved shirts I will never wear otherwise, and I really don't want to have to wear my longjohns in the shop. I'd die of the heat.
But I'm a firm believer in finishing a project before starting a new one, so both the apron and the sleeves are hi-pri before Tuesday.
YAY MOTIVATION! \o/

*totes inspired by Tony's layered look in Avengers. I'm excited about it, but the timing of the epiphany sucked. I missed one of my favorite conversations thinking about the logistics! *pout*
