But I am glad to have read it all the same.
She's one of my favorite authors, and this piece, though not her usual fiction, simply a recounting of a day that burns in so many of our memories, is a one of the reasons why.
Nine Years Ago I can only add my words of appreciation for the men and women in-and out of-uniform that showed the truest patriotism I can think of by helping strangers no matter the cost to themselves. God keep you, wherever you are, and may He bless you evermore.
