Wow...I can't believe this society today. >.>
Ok, so I was talking to a really good friend of mine today, and we just to happened to get on the subject of bisexuality and gay people. I told her that I respected them because they were human. In fact, I love gay people. Without them a lot of straight men would look like a hot mess, we wouldn't know the name of a guy that acts like a woman, treats himself like a woman, but is also intrested in women (it's called Metrosexual, but my transsexual cousin hates that name. I love him too. Well, her.) In matter of fact, my transsexual cousin and I sort of grew up together. I rememeber the times we would ride our bikes together as he would just grab mines (it was pink with sparkles going off the side and it said 'Waikiki Wave" and his was a huge green mountain bike that had the words 'Outdoors" on the side of it.) But, I'm getting off topic and I digress. Anyway, she just shocked me and said, "Why? They're all going to hell and they're going to be judged by God. Why love them when they're going to be going somewhere you're not." I was just shocked. I couldn't find the words to say. Don't get me wrong, I only agreed with her.......1.111%. She didn't give me a chance to even say anything. I just had to quickly end our talk and just left. I couldn't believe that our society is just being this freakin close-minded. I hate what this is becoming. Gay people are just as human as you and me. They've done absolutely nothing to us to make us feel like we should be threatened at all. >.> UGH!~ I hope this society becomes more open one day. Until then, gotta go.
