LOL XD I can never download really really reeeeaaaally huge files like full-length movies or the like XDDD; *fails* I haven't even watched 3104 I am such a bad Ohchan fan ;.;
Maybe I'm being too fanatic with the anime that I can't seem to stop being too critical about the movie XD; My reaction goes from, "that's so cute they included this!" to "when did that ever happen?" I dunno. It's really okay for me that they did not include some parts from the anime (like Shuuji going away for a while, Morita and Hagu's very awkward date, Takemoto's visit home, Nomiya and his crew, etc.) but why do they have to add something to the story? Like what I have pointed out, Morita and Hagu being comfortable working together in a painting and the talk that they had in the end. It sort of destroyed the essence of Morita and Hagu's bizzare adoration/love for each other. Ah, I think could cite even more differences if I watch H&C anime again! LOL I can't seem to remember if Takemoto and Yamada ever had some semi-serious conversation like that in the movie. But of course, I also know that some of the changes they made was for the movie to be concise and realistic. I'm just so sad for Hagu and Morita's case. They were my ichiban pairing in H&C... ;___; It's so different! T__T
I did like the cast in the sense that they were able to portray their roles well. I never liked Mayama in the anime but having Ryo Kase play a dorky stalker made me appreciate Mayama more (am I even being rational here? LOL). Though Morita was a bit more uhh, disgusting (? no offense meant. Yusuke Iseya was HOT as Morita, yes) in the movie than his genki and random pesonality in the anime. And Aoi Yu is a lovely Haguchan! ;3; ♥ Oh! Yeah, they did evolve fast and to think of it... In the anime, the story was already fast! 24 edpisodes was able to cover how many years? D: So the movie's timeline was really really fast. I was worried it might confuse other viewers. There had been lack of emphasis on the time element. It would be hard to tell that years had already passed or so....
Anyway, among the things I liked in the movie (of course I still did like it! 8D ♥) is Hagu's art dilemma being plausible and realistic. In the anime Haguchan was not an abstract artist alone. She was very talented in every other way. In the anime, the conflict about the scholarship being offered to her lies in her choice between going abroad or going back to her hometown after graduation. I found that kind of unrealistic since she even doesn't have anyone to return to at her hometown. So having the art dilemma changed in the movie made it realistic. In the movie, Hagu had to choose between continuing her own art or submitting to what other people tell her to do. :D
LOL XD Yes, I liked the artworks! XDDD *hides* I don't really have a critical mind when it comes to works of art because I can't even tell what a good abstract art is from a bad one. Honestly, I want to know that *___* I want to paint abstract too, but how the heck am I going to know if it's good or it's crap if I didn't have proper introduction/familiarization with such. LOL XDDD; But... Hey, Morita's carvings are cute! XD (those little souvenirs, the ones he said that "sell") XDDD
PS. This is already long but I just have to add... I can't help but remember Ohchan when I saw Morita with a chainsaw. Ahahha XDDD ♥
No uber uber huge files for me because: 1) it would take ten thousand years with a slow internet connection, and 2) not enough disk space. >_<;; I wouldn't elaborate anymore on my PC specs because it will definitely bring me to shame =3=;;
Yeah, Takemoto and Yamada would just talk about casual things but not really serious matters like that in the movie. Yes, it should have been Morita who Yamada had talked to about serious things! >: Oh and if the movie did intend to make the story run for whole four years like that in the anime, I wasn't able to notice it. XD;
Ahhhh~ I wanna learn abstract painting! (If that can ever be learned!) XDDD /paints random colors \(*w*)/
