Oh my Keith!!!!

OMG!!! The Keith Urban concert last night was AMAZING!!!!!! I went with 3 friends and it was THE BEST concert I have ever seen! He sounded great and looked even better! Haha!
We sat about halfway back (about 25 rows or so from the stage) and we could see great from there still. Anyway, the girls in front of me said that they heard that he was going to start the show from this little stage on the sound booth RIGHT NEXT TO US! So we were freaking out at the thought that Keith would be that close to us!

Miranda Lambert opened up the show and she is awesome! I love her music and she really got the crowd going! I loved when she sang Me and Charlie Talkin and Kerosene. That's such a kick ass song!
Then when Keith was starting, they were playing a video up front on the big screens and there was this round curtain that was on the stage next to us and we were going crazy! But the curtain lifted (or dropped - can't remember!) and there was no one there! He was up on stage!! I was a little upset that he wasn't there next to us though!

He started the show off with a bang singing Days Go By. It was really great to get the crowd pumped up. Then he slowed it down with Raining on Sunday. Then he brought some very lucky girls up on stage for autographs, hugs, and kisses. Lucky bitches!! LOL!! I love his sense of humor! Like when he was signing the girls poster and he goes "Love Kenny Chesney" Haha! Not long after, he sang one of my faves You Look Good in My Shirt while laying on the stage and this girl got to lay down next to him to hold the microphone for him! Ahh to be cuddling next to a sweaty hott Keith would be wonderful!

And he sang another favorite Homespun Love! And he was telling people to come down to the side to stand and be a little closer. So me and my friend Shannon ran up there. And after the next song all of a sudden Shannon was screaming at me! Here he was going up on a little lift thing and heading back to that stage next to our seats!! So we booked it back there and got really up close! I was just LOVING seeing him so close!!!!! He sang But for the Grace of God on there. Then Miranda Lambert joined him for the song Silver Wings!! Which was awesome! The only thing that bothered me was Miranda had her backed turned to us and never once turned to at least look our way or anything. But she's awesome, so I forgive her! While he was still there he also sang Making Memories of Us and You'll Think of Me. I LOVE his live version of YTOM! When he adds the extra versus on the end. It's great!

Back up at the stage again, he sang another favorite Jeans On! The video was a little corny but the song is so cool! And I love how he really gets into it! He does get into all the songs he sings and it really shows how much passion he has for his music.

He then sang You're My Better Half, Who Wouldn't Want to Be Me and Better Life and finished up the set. It wasn't long before he came out for the encore. He was up on the side of the stage with the piano and he had all the lights turned down and played and sang Tonight I Wanna Cry. This was awesome because with everyhing dark (except for the lighters and glow necklaces) you got to just really concentrate on his beautiful voice. Next came Somebody Like You! And he finished with These are the Days!!!

One word to sum up the concert? AMAZING!!!! I could not settle down on the drive home and I think I was making my friends crazy, but when experiencing something so great, how can you not go on and on about it?!?!

The thing that also amazed me was how much his show has changed. We went to see him last November, and since then his set has totally changed with all the decorations and the TV screens. And him coming into the audience to perform, and his set list as well. His show and performances have evolved so much in a year, it's great!!

And best of all, today I got my Living Right Now DVD in the mail, so I got to relive the whole concert over again!!

Here are a few pics I took, but they are kind of dark. I will post more soon!
