what's new? everything will kill you. i learned that microwave popcorn butter is killing the people who make it, because it makes the insides of their lungs all buttery. they die, and that is my interpretation.
the whole drive home from grand rapids, i was thinking how great my shuffle mix was. then i was thinking i would write about it, and how great that would be, too. but then i realized that when other people do stuff like that, i am not into it. and i am probably like most people. so i won't list all the sweet songs that i was so jamming to, because when something is a certain amount of fun, you don't get nerdy and tell the world about it. like a great party or something. you don't nail it down and kill it in the process. you just let it be awesome while it lasts, and hope that it somehow becomes part of you and makes you a bigger person, subconsciously. yes.
this diabetic writer at work called me this weekend about our secret project we're presenting to everyone tomorrow. it was weird to get a call from him, but as he says, "this is the greatest thing we have ever done in advertising." and i doubt it. we're going to convince everyone to make a commercial for Art Van's 48th Anniversary that is like the opening credits of Napoleon Dynamite. where the food comes in on plates and stuff is written in ketchup and stuff. but for the Anniversary Sale, it'll be written in icing on all kinds of cakes. so we'll see how that goes.
i have a prediction. burger king is going to go out of business. or, it should because their buns are disgusting and mcdonald's buns are incredible. so we'll see how that goes.
if not caring means you're "nonchalant," then caring a lot should mean you're "chalant."
the reason i wanted to post was this- a funny thing my mom emailed me. She's in college. "Ya know how it is studying then thinking it's not enough, SChool ya know. Love mom."
