But still I am romantic in my heart
Dari/Jisu | pg | 141w
Not really romantic after all.
Jisu knows they're both guys and so he doesn't expect them to be all romantic. But he also knows that he has every right to be slightly disappointed when Dari fails at trying to be romantic.
Dari leaves a rose on his pillow, so when Jisu goes to bed that evening and sees Dari's expecting smile, he can't help but smile back and think that his boyfriend is quite romantic after all.
When Jisu asks Dari why he left him a rose, he doesn't get the answer he was expecting though.
“Because our love is beautiful, just like a flower.”
“Flowers die,” he tells Dari.
Dari has the grace to look ashamed. Jisu just shakes his head in disappointment.
But because Jisu appreciates the effort anyways, he hugs the older boy closer and whispers sweet nothings in his ear.
