It's hard to understand this feeling
Kibum/Kevin | pg13 | 1005w
Doing weird things is usually caused by feelings you can't explain.

Kevin knew he shouldn't. And if he ever had to explain it, he'd say that the rushing water of the shower lured him to the bathroom door. It had nothing to do with the fact of who was in the shower...well who was about to come out of the shower any minute now. When he thought about it he had to admit that it felt forbidden, spying and prying in someone's privacy, but Kevin couldn't help it. He didn't do this kind of stuff normally, it was just that lately Kibum had grown on him, more than the others did. He discovered that there wasn't just that brotherly bond between them; there was something more to it. And well, he experienced this feelings, and those feelings made him do things.

Like standing in front of the bathroom door, waiting for the other to come out of the shower. He placed his hand on the door knob, already anticipating the image of Kibum that was sure to come, all handsome and muscled and what not. He was just irresistible. He remembered the first time Kibum revealed those abs of him on stage, the screaming of the fangirls were deafening and they were snapping pictures like there was no tomorrow. It proved that Kibum was irresistible, but Kevin found Kibum irresistible for so much more. The way he would laugh, tease him, act tough in front of the others but showing his sweet side when they were alone. It was because all of that, that Kevin knew that love wasn't a choice.

So technically, it wasn't his fault that he ended up in this situation. Nature was to blame. And of course Kibum himself because of his looks and character.

Kevin stopped his thinking when he heard the shower being turned off. Before he knew what he was doing he turned the doorknob.

Kibum shivered from the sudden rush of cold air and quickly pulled back the shower curtain and stepped onto the cold tile floor. Hopping from one foot to the other to keep warm, he grabbed his towel and wrapped it around himself.

Turning towards the mirror, he looked at himself, flexing his muscles a little and grabbed a comb. Just when he reached his hair, his towel slipped down a little. With his quick reflexes he got it just before it fell onto the floor. Having adjusted the towel again, he combed his hair. Putting the comb away, he looked around for his shaver. Just when he had found it his towel slipped down again, this time falling on the floor completely. “Stupid towel.” he growled.

As he bent down to grab the towel, he heard someone squealing. Quickly wrapping the towel around him, he looked around. No one had come into the bathroom without him noticing, right? Not finding anything, Kibum shook it of, and started to shave.

Nothing happened in the meantime, so when Kibum opened the bathroom door, he was shocked to see Kevin falling into him. He reached out to catch him anyways, only realizing he was just wearing his towel when he felt Kevin press up against him.

“Kevin, what are you doing here?” Kibum asked him slightly embarrassed, ignoring how soft Kevin's hair felt against his chest. Kevin felt his face heat up and tried to get away from Kibum, but because of all the flailing he did he ended up in Kibum's arms once again.

“Kevin, relax...I was just asking what you were doing here...It's no big deal, anyways.” And with that, Kibum helped Kevin stand up straight. He couldn't help but noticing the blush tainting Kevin's cheeks and things started to fall in place.

“Kevin...were you spying on me?” Kibum asked with an amused tone. Kevin flushed an even deeper red, and he quickly turned his head to look at the floor. He knew he had to answer Kibum sometime, but it was just way to awkward.

“It is inevitable.” Kevin whispered.

“What is?” Kibum asked confused.

“This.” Kevin said, looking up at him with puppy eyes.

“The spying you mean?”

Kevin pouted, no, that wasn't what he meant. How could he ever explain himself?

“No...I mean....this. You looking like that, and me...”

“And you what?” Kibum asked, amused at the younger boy's explanation. When he didn't get an answer, he decided to take matters in his own hands.

“Listen, Kevin...do you feel....weird around me?”

Kevin gave a small nod, wringing his hands nervously. “I don't know what to do about it, so I just give in to whatever thought that comes to my mind.”

Kibum's face went soft. “It's okay Kev, it's not a bad thing...”

“How can you say that? I'm doing all these weird things around you, and you're saying it's not a bad thing? How long can you keep that up?”

Kibum smiled, before reaching out to Kevin. He pulled him into a hug, comforting the other boy. When Kevin calmed down, Kibum softly whispered into his ear.

“I feel weird around you too.”

Kevin looked up, his eyes glistening a little. “But how...”

“It's called love Kevin. It makes you do weird things.”

Kevin looked shocked but relieved. “You....you do?” he asked with a hopeful tone.

“Yes, Kevin. I really love you.” Kibum said softly, stroking the others hair. Kevin leaned into the touch, wrapping his arms around Kibum.

“Then I guess..I love you too.” Kevin said, leaning his head against Kibum's chest. He felt the other breathing on his hair, the breath making him feel safe and warm. They stood like that for a while, before Kevin pulled away, looking up at the other shyly.

“Hyung...” Kibum grinned, understanding what the other wanted. Kibum leaned forward, capturing Kevin's lips. They both grinned before pulling away.

With a little push, Kevin moved Kibum back into the bathroom, closing the door behind him. It was time to discover more of love.
