last NPD trip ever!
National Portfolio Day is over! It was not nearly as bad as i thought it would be. I actually got to talk to 5 colleges with an hour to spare. Last year I BARELY had time for 3, so wahoo. And yay for eating at IHOP instead of the Kettle! All of my interviews went awesomely, so thats good. And Pratt accepted me and said i passed with flying colors :oD. yay! Too bad the colleges i REALLY want to go to either weren't there or weren't able to accept portfolios. Oh well. All of us seemed to do really great, so congrats to everyone!
And the actual trip was fun. Of course we pigged out in the car with Sarah's homemade chex mix and read her magazines, which are always.. interesting, lol. We also listened to Guster like a mega lot, which made me happy, then sad. And it really didn't help that there was a ______ clone at the hotel!!
Oh, and Angela showed up! I haven't seen her in far too long, my little sister i never had. She was all cute as always and apparently i look a lot different now so she was all amazed.
Jahred is officially crazy. Mean words accidentally slipped from my mouth, but I was mad. oops.
Oh goodness, so we somehow found our way into a gay bar on friday night. I was all excited when we got in there cause of the loud music, but then the pictures all over the wall were a bit creepy. Some "lady" walked into the bathroom when we were in there, and once she found out the stalls were filled she goes "Damn, well im just gonna go to the men's room" HAHA. and then we saw pictures of drag queens and the such. interesting. We stayed there though, and the food was goood! yum yum.
And our giddyness got the best of us when we made a stop at a gas station for a break on our way back to SA. They had machines where yu could buy like this huge variety of condoms. haha. We ended up getting banana, peppermint, and studded ones. LOL. it was horribly great. Everyone there thought we were crazy. The people working there were like "dude, are yall okay??" absolutely hysterical. We were in there for like 30 minutes, so we arrived back a lot later than all the other cars.. but hey, it was a gootime. lol.
Oh jeez. All of this college business is stressing me out and i gotta work like mega ultra hard next week at school so my grades will stop sucking. argh- pirate style. Guess it doesn't help that we missed Friday for the trip. *sigh*
So i actually charged my camera and everything Thursday night, and lost it when i was packing!! gurr. So once again, this post is picture-less.
