A lot of the time, the more I mull over a series ending, the less satisfied I am with it.
That isn't happening in the case of Battlestar Galactica. True, there are a few things that could have been resolved better (the last minute or two come to mind)--but in terms of closure, it was everything I hoped for emotionally.
I can tell because I was a complete waterworks for most of the finale.
It's kinda hard to believe it's all over. Oh sure, the fandom is going to be divided over this ending for a long time, arguing over it's various merits. More officially, there's "The Plan" movie and the new series Caprica--but those are just addendum's to the main series. Galactica and her Fleet have come to the end of their journey.
It was worth it. So say we all.
(Now I just need to figure out what I'm going to watch now.)
