do you like how my boyfriend gets laid off the same day i get a job offer.
so yeah bad news is three weeks ago he got laid off, right after my fabulous week in laguna.
but i came home to a new job! gaining a little bit of new experience as a receptionist/appointment setter/make up/hair product enthusiast. its not a career but its nice for the mean time and pays more. im just crossing my fingers that nothing stupid happens to me in which i lose my job or something, because for the most part i love it.
i always thought that this kind of job would be a piece of cake! but little to my knowledge this ritzy spa is insanely busy on a regular basis. these ppl definitely keep me on my toes all day. i didnt realize how many rich people actually live in this town, with only a population of 400,000. i mean i know in Vegas money is everywhere and its not really a big deal at all, everyone has it. anyway these women and even men surprisingly pamper their selves a couple times a week. $100 facials here $150 shiatsu sessions the next day and oh than come back in later for your pedi and hair! plus take home $70 bottles of shampoo and just blow off a grand on some skin and hair products? i mean it must be nice to be bored and rich and spend a couple days a week in the spa. ughh im just jealous bc i wish i could treat myself right now but things are kinda tight until my man finds a job. im just praying and trying to stay positive. we have been through so much i just hope we can make it through this.
other than me trying to stop stressing about the money situation and doing everything possible to not ask my mom for money...

no not really one minute im okay one minute im stressing. kris has been considering the navy... again. i mean seriously considering, to the point where he is running daily to prepare. he went through this phase before and couldnt make it past meps but i think this time hes ready? secretly i just keep wishing he will get a job back on a rig. but the navy would be helpful for us.... but i wont get into details with that until the time comes
