WHY- Being able to cook is another life wish of mine, and I don't know what has kept me back from just taking the time to learn. Because I will be living on my own by the end of this year, it is important that I can cook for myself, beyond just making scrambled eggs and french toast. Plus, I will be able to entertain friends at my place while cooking for them, thusly being impressive and cool. Also, the women-folk tend to find a man who can cook more attractive. It's science.
HOW- I will take apprenticeship under my dear mother, and I will look up recipes online. I will practice on my family, setting aside a date to cook for them, probably Sundays, because I can't during the week due to my work schedule. When I feel confident enough, I will practice on friends. One thing I must note here is that what I mean when I say that they must be distinct of each other is that I can't have mashed potatoes in multiple meals. Each meal has to have all different items in it so that when I learn 4 distinct meals, I can interchange their parts to have a multitude of other meal options! I want at least two of the meals to be vegetarian friendly, one to be vegan friendly, and one to be meat centric.
WHAT WILL COME OF THIS? - I will be able to cook myself delicious meals! That's so wonderful! Plus, being able to cook will boost my confidence and make me more attractive. Plus, I will save costs when I live on my own because I won't have to buy a singular meal every meal, which in turn will make me healthier because I won't eat fast food as much.
