✤ twenty; (there are guards on the ramps armed to the teeth)

[It's been a while since he used the phone- he didn't use it at all except to call others back upon his return from Westport. There had been too much to think about. Too much to turn over in his mind and absorb and she really died, didn't she; I held her and he was trying to just forget about it. Except no matter how high he got, there was no forgetting it at all, her body cold in his arms and the thick smog in the air and feeling imprisoned again on what was supposed to be a day of liberation. And his body needed to recover, though Mayfield appeared to be taking care of that.]

...Everyone's healing faster, ja? My lungs feel a lot clearer.

[After a pause.] The Tulip Festival would've already started now. Canada, I have something for you.

[As much as he would like to forget about Westport, he can't. But he can take action, which he has not hesitated to do since abandoning his policy of neutrality 65 years ago.]

[✤FILTERED; ◤ALL NATIONS (Hetalia, Afghanis-tan, and SatW casts) except for you dirty Commies Russia and China.◢]

[He sounds a little tired- held back a little, like his normal devil-may-care attitude has taken the back seat- but serious, determined.]

Hoi, everyone.

America and I were talking. We need to get our shit together. We've all been here for varying lengths of time, and in that time a lot of us haven't been working together or communicating at all. [ . . . ] There's been a point in every single one of our histories where we'd have all been good as dead were it not for solidarity. Enemies, allies, whatever- we all need to be on the same page. Especially after Westport, where only some of us were trapped.

We can figure this out. But it has to be together.

So, America and I are holding a world meeting this Saturday. 1:00 PM at the rec center. Whether you're a nation from our world or not, we want you there. Think about it. Dankuwel. ['Thank you'.]

[✤FILTERED; ◤Russia, China.◢]

[He told America that he'd wrangle them into this; both of them might very well say 'no' to attending if America asked, especially China. He doesn't expect it be entirely easy, but it's his job to convince them to come, as he is a much more neutral country than America is.]

I have to talk to you. Something important. Hear me out.

[✤ACTION; ◤Belgium.◢]

[And some time later after making his calls, he'll be going to Belgium's house. He almost knocks on the door, decides not to at the last minute, and winds up sitting on her front porch, elbows on his knees and head in his hands.]

[ooc; Some history notes, to explain why he is so formal and serious about this: the Netherlands is a founding member of the UN, the EU, and NATO, after spending many years as a neutral country. Their policy of neutrality protected them throughout World War I; however, this did not hold true in World War II, when German occupation made a mockery of Dutch neutrality in an utterly devastating way. The Netherlands abandoned its neutrality after WWII and threw itself into international affairs, strongly promoting the rule of law, human rights, and democracy. The Netherlands mainly now focuses upon peacekeeping and international safety and stability- the International Court of Justice is housed in The Hague.

tl;dr!: International cooperation and solidarity is something he takes really seriously, hence all this! I still forsee there being complete chaos at the world meeting. Hell yeah.]
