Hey, Japan? I know you must be kind of distracted lately with this election stuff, but I was thinking about that project we're putting together. I think it needs a mascot.
And... well. I know you've got too much pride to admit that Miffy's better. But since it's going to be in your garage and all, I thought of something. We shouldn't compete over Miffy and Hello Kitty, you know? The differences between them are too great. Differences like... Miffy being there first. And also being better, and cuter, and more likeable, and all of that schijt. Not that I think Hello Kitty should take it personally, but-- [A sound like he's taking a long drag on something.] They're still pretty big differences.
But we can reconcile that, can't we? I mean, neither of us would ever be where we are right now without the other. [There's something like a smile in his voice now; nostalgic, even.] So tell me what you think of this, okay?

I call it Hello Miffy. She has all of the awesome powers of Miffy combined with whatever it is Hello Kitty does. Like be really good at scratching around in a litterbox, or something. I think it'd be a pretty good mascot. I'm going to try to get some other opinions, too. It never hurts to get some feedback, right?
