Responsibilities
You know, I should probably use this place more often. Seeing as I went through all the hassle of getting it and finding icons for it in the first place.
Of course... it doesn't help that I have a major distraction with me right now. Not that I mind how distracting he is... and dune, is he distracting...
At the least, I've gotten things more settled around here since Spike and I got here. I don't know what in dune happened to all the capital we had, but I have a sneaking suspicion a lot of it went into the shiny new toy Wave has been building in the workshop from the plan's Spike's kid gave her. Not that it's a bad thing, since all we've had so far is my remote, so having a backup is good but... damn. That should have held us for another two months! And she calls ME irresponsible.
We're caught back up again, though. A couple of good heists and we're set. Not to mention I got the chance to show Spike just how good I am at what I do. Both jobs were a cake walk. Yes, because Sonic was the one who did all the planning and he has a natural mind for strategy! Unlike somebody I could name.
Spike's... pretty good, too. He wasn't half bad. IE : He's better than the 'Legendary Wind Master'.
But now that we're all settled again IE: They're done boinking each other's brains out for a while., I can finally take Spike out to The Garden. He's been looking forward to that. So have I, for that matter. First time it's had someone who's (technically) an outsider visit it. At least until the wedding!
I really think he's really going to like it.
