This reminds me of my mother~

So back from London. I've tried my best to read through my friends page, but apparently 260 new entries occurred since I last checked it. If I missed anything important, give me a shout.

The journey back down again was not so bad. Spent £11 on buying food for the journey down which really shocked me. I need to avoid shops located in stations. Once we arrived in London and made our way back to Covent Garden, we settled down again into our stylish top floor room~ We went out shopping about the local area again where I bought cute letter paper and a new bag from ARTBOX. We then went out for a walk towards the river and browsed the book stalls there which had the most beautiful antique books~ Once we got back, Mike and Daz came home later on in the evening and Mike took us out for dinner. I ordered a tasty cod fish cake and a cheese cake for afters! After heading home, we went for bed for it was Camberwell for me the next day!

After getting up at 10 I got ready and headed out to Victoria station where I bought a train ticket to Peckham Rye. Boarded a train at 1:12 and was well on my way for my open day! However, things only got worse. Peckham, I believe, is a very intimidating place. At least, for someone who has never been there before. I was worried about traveling there anyway what with the recent news coverage surrounding it. From leaving the station, I was lost straight away. The directions Camberwell gave me were not much help either. I ended up asking two people for the way and they both told me that once at the library, turn right. So I did. I walked right for 20 minutes. Getting worried as I was late by now, I called up the university and asked for directions. They told me I should have turned left at the library. So I make my trek back up the road and further to finally make it at the open day something close to 20 minutes late.

The university itself was average I guess. It wasn't much of an open day. But they had all the facilities I'd need and space. The buildings are beautiful; one of them is a converted Victorian boys school. It made my heart throb. And the area, once up at the school, is perfectly fine; I'd just be sure to get a bus there from where I'll be living so I wont have to take the train to Peckham Rye. I just wish I could have got a better look around which I'll try my best to do once I get an interview.

After Camberwell, I headed back where zappin met me at Victoria Station and we went for a walk. We went for lunch/dinner and went for another walk along the river and followed it all the way up to London Bridge~ We headed back after a long time of walking and were welcomed by what was to be our home for the next few days; Daz and Mike had taken off to Spain for a week, leaving us in charge of their very beautiful apartment!

The next day, we got up early and headed out for the super market to buy some food for the next few days. Once back, I made a tasty fruit salad for zappin before heading out to Victoria to catch my train to Portsmouth. Once there, a very lovely phoenixshards came to meet me~! =D We said our hellos before heading out in to Portsmouth and towards her flat~ I dropped off my stuff and was introduced to housemates before grabbing a quick (and very grateful!) bite to eat. As I had a few hours to kill, phoenixshards took me out to the seafront!

I must say, Portsmouth is a very beautiful place! T^T I adore how clean it is, and peaceful. From first impressions also, it seems quite small! Which I really, really like~ Everything seems in walkable distance! After walking along the seafront, we headed towards a very beautiful shopping centre in which there was a Cadbury Outlet Store~ Discount chocolate! We later walked over towards a park where there were many many cute and small animals~ T^T

And, squirrels!

We then headed back towards phoenixshards's flat where I met more housemates and picked up my stuff. We headed over towards the building were my interview was to be held and phoenixshards offered to pick me up after wards and take me home for dinner~ (T^^^^T) I instantly accepted! I went in for my interview, of which my interviewer was running late so I was sat around the department for a while. When he had finished with the previous interviewee, he invited me in and sat me down.

The interview was probably the most strange so far! He asked amusing questions such as "Tell me what my wife's name is and what does she do for a living?" and "Describe my living room to me, what does it look like?" to which my answers were "Her name is Helen and she likes to work with glass. She most likely has her own craft shop involving glass ornaments and such." and "It's not too old fashioned but not quite modern. The colour scheme is very light, and there is lots of Royal Doulton porcelain on display." He browsed through my portfolio while generally chatting to me. At the end, he told me that undoubtedly, I have a place, which then I asked if he wanted to see the rest of my things (having brought sketchbooks and models) and he replied "I don't need to look at them, my mind is made up." I was then cheeky and took the opportunity to ask for a tour (as I hadn't been to an open day) which he was more than happy too. I was shown the beautiful print room and ceramics room~ I'm very satisfied with Portsmouth! I think, if I do not get in to Camberwell, then I will most definitely be going to Portsmouth!

After my interview, I found phoenixshards waiting for me in reception. After picking up my stuff, I headed back down and we headed back to her flat! I was greeted by housemates again XD And given a most wonderful warm meal of cod, vegetables and potatoes~ T^^^T Thank you! When it got close to 6, I said my goodbyes to housemates and we headed over to the station. Found that my train had been canceled and so had to wait tille 6:45 for another one but we easily passed the time talking =33 Once my train arrived, I said my goodbyes and thankyous to phoenixshards and I boarded it~ I found that it was going direct in to Waterloo so I stayed on through the whole journey, getting off and boarded the tube to Covent Garden! Got home to make some chicken noodles for my very hungry zappin!

The next day we got up early and headed out to the National History Museum as this was our FREE DAY~! =3 I really enjoyed walking around the museum~ It was almost as though being in Animal Crossing~ XD I don't get to many museums much~ I mostly enjoyed the dinosaur exhibition~ =3 Liverpool Museum has probably the worst dinosaur exhibition ever~ So I was very happy to see so many fossils and such in one place ^^

We went about the other exhibitions also such as the insects, birds and mammals~ At about 1pm, we headed out to Camdem Market~! We walked down the main road about twice, buying some nice noodles as we did. I got some Asian guys shouting "Alright Girl!" in some terrible bad cockney accent~ XD zappin bought himself a nice pink and black knitted jacket and I found my self browsing 'Angel Pretty' for their very cute FRUITS/OSHARE wears. I bought myself a very sweet and cheap jumper! After a while, we decided to head back before picking up some more food~

The next day, it was zappin's open day at Westminister! I must say, even I was impressed! He got a free bag with a free pen and we both got LOLLIPOPS! And yes, that is all it takes to convince me that it is a good university XD We sat through some talks and received a tour of all of the facilities with a student HOMEBOY YO guiding us~ XD Got some FREE SANDWICHES before sitting through more talks and heading back.

On the way back, we decided to randomly pop in to Hamley's which consumed around an hour of our lives XD And we didn't even buy anything (mostly due to lack of funds but hey~ XD). We headed back home, picking up some milk on the way. Once home, I set about my housewife duty and tidied up (since we hadn't bothered to do any cleaning while we were there. Shame on us.)

The next day, we packed and finished the tidying and headed out for our bus at 3 (which, for once, the megabus was packed o_o) arriving back in Liverpool at around 8:15!

So I have received letters from Kent, Portsmouth and Hereford now. They stand as follows:

Hereford: Unconditional
Kent: Conditional
Portsmouth: Conditional

Since I no longer wish to go to Hereford, I just have to rely on passing my current course, and I'm in to either Portsmouth or Kent, should my hopes of going to Camberwell fail~

And because everyone should listen to The Beatles (everybody should like The Beatles) I'm here to pimp some favourites;
