WOW! It has been so long since I updated. A few important things happened since I last posted, mostly including the fact that I graduated from Yale. Other than that - I went on a roadtrip to Colorado and Utah with Allison, ended my conducting career, drove to Myrtle Beach without telling anybody,
I'm working in New Haven, getting a little bit of money so I can buy food next year at BERKLEE. I'm spending my time mostly practicing saxophone, eating burgers, and working on my side project, Cassius (www.myspace.com/greatcassius.. email me for higher quality mp3s - you'll want them). Great Caesar just released its EP, which is fantastic, and it should be on iTunes soon. However we won't be playing for much of the summer since the singer and trumpet player will be away.
It looks like my summer schedule is going to make it hard for me to be in OB for extended periods of time, but hopefully I should be able to request some time to spend the whole weekend at home. (My job is all throughout the week, even Sat/Sun.) So that means I have to squeeze a fucking LOT of stuff into a short time when I'm in OB: spend time with my family so they hate me less, hang out with friends, and go to band practice. It sort of makes me feel pretty squeezed actually when I go home, cause I am basically forced to choose between activities which rarely manage to overlap in terms of people. Whatever though.
If anybody reads this, what are you doing this summer? Next year?
