A change of pace
So far this weekend has been great. Friday I hungout with Trish and Jamie. I was serenading Kate with the new Mariah Carey.
Saturday's therapy was kinda strange. Somehow the stress of work has decreased, but the amount of work is the same. I think I'm becoming jaded which can be good, in the sense of my perfectionism on jobs, and not being given the time to achieve decent products, I dont get so down about.
And there are a bunch of things I'm excited about.
After therapy I participated in the Homos in the Hood yard sale. Bi-annually Jamie's former boss/current friend has a bunch of friends come out and sell things in front of his home. Its in Wicker Park near Damen and Division.
I was only selling 3 things, which in a way makes me happy. The majority of things I have, I still like or still need.
I only sold 1 of my 3, but still, everything that people dont sell, they donate to the Brown Elephant.
So I made $15 but spent $17 on things at the yard sale.
I kinda have buyers remorse on the two suit jackets that are for winter only. But I love my new hat. its classy.
and also a gigantic bag of skeins of yarn. I need to get crafty again.
The night went on with Veggie Bite, playtime with Cougs (who I just notices has stigmata on his paws) and then back to Trish and Jamie to watch Margot at the Wedding which stumped all of us.
and today concludes with "adult" things like grocery shopping and cleaning my place.
