OK. I accepted progresss' explanation about why he responded to me in sextips as if he was warlike
Warlike sat at his computer cause they work together, he claims in the infamous warlike post in sextips.
OK, I give people the benifit of the doubt. But I'm not stupid, and I think I made it pretty obvious that I felt I was being lied to at the time.
So, did a little checking. Seems like that stupid fucker warlike went posting from progress' computer before! Check out the 'Re: Excuse Me' response from progress in warlikes' journal. Bizarre. He deleted my post and banned me. All I'd done was ask the previous poster if they thought it strange that warlike would be responding for progress...
It was also interesting how progress showed up 20 minutes later to weigh in. How did he know?? Oh ya, they're like brothers those two. Joined at the hip. Literaly.
So I went looking! After just a few minutes of checking out both LJ's, it's pretty obvious they're the same person.
Couple of too-odd-to-be-coincidence similarities:
they both use two dashes within posts and to sign posts.
they both CAPITALIZE the odd word for emphasis.
they both surround verb fragments with two/three colons.
they both fail to capitalize the beginning of sentences at times.
plus they both have the same writing style. short, in-your-face sentence fragements.
Obviously progress set himself up an alter-ego back in November so he could bitch at/about people without drawing flames to his honest LJ.
There's no shame in that. I might just do something similar, damn fine idea. Stop denying it though, for the love of God!
After reflection....I don't think I would do that. It'd take too much energy and useless thought pretending to be two people in LJ.
UPDATE: Progress asked me nicely to hide these last two posts. I obliged. All I asked was to know who was in on the fact that progress = warlike. That and to have a couple of posts removed (not warlike posts, progress posts).
He stalled and played dumb games. He posted a stupid denial on his journal. So, the posts are back up.
It's %100 obvious to me that at least two of the other moderators were in on it. I don't think Carrie was.
The final thing I'll say about this is I tried to give him the opportunity to let warlike die a peaceful death without any embarrassment to him or the other sextips moderators. It was a gift for him. All evidence of any connection could have been wiped clean and I would never have said anything. But, he couldn't play straight with me. Guess he doesn't like playing that way.
I imagine I'll soon be banned from sextips for making this revelation. Oh well, maybe I'll start my own sex community! No RULZ AND NO FAKE USERS!
I mean, if you're pissed off and have something to say...why not just say it as yourself?? The flaming won't last indefinitely. Jeez.
