There are portions of the play I'm working on that make me uncomfortable to watch. I've seen them over and over with flubbed lines and botched blocking, but seeing them in context still make me want to look away. This is high praise for the actors, and a guaranteed upset stomach for the audience when it hits actual show nights.
I've been having this horrible sense of foreboding all day. Not pleasant, I tell you. I'm used to keeping an eye out for the other shoe, but this is somehow worse than that. Unfocused and general at the moment, but difficult not to poke at to try to make some sense of.
