Got a job yesterday! Yep, got the official call from NovaCare. I don't want to make a big deal out of it as it is a customer service job with sub-par hours, but I am still really really really excited. New car, new haircut, new job. Baby steps, just baby steps. =p
Probably should mention that my parents are NOT happy for me. Despite my excellent mood right now, I was not this was just a few days ago when it only seemed probable that I was going to get the job. My mom basically called my life mediocre and I shattered her curling iron. Believe me, that is a long story very very very short.
In any case, fuck my parents, I'm not letting their pessimistic outlook ruin this for me. Its a stepping stone job and I don't want to stay there, but its office experience, healthcare, and paid days off. Pretty sweet if you ask me.
