As an update to the previous entry, my parents seem to be getting along better...weirdly better actually. It was about 5-6 days of absolute hell, and then the next night we all played board games in the living room as a family. =/ I'm not complaining, it just seems odd to me. I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but things seem like they've gone back to normal and my parents are going to start attending marriage counseling, so maybe that will keep the relative peace from blowing up again.

In other news, people from my past are popping up in my life all over the place. For the most part its a good thing. For instance, Lindsay is back from Australia!!!!! Its awesome to have her around again, but she's going back to school soon, so it was a short-lived visit even though it included some crazy times as usual. I also got to see Scott the other day and that was amazing. Its weird though, with the warmer weather and driving around with Scott, it was like I was thrown right back into high school. The best parts of high school, but still, its hard not to feel uneasy when you're time-traveling. People you haven't talked to in a while have a tendency to do that to you. All of a sudden you remember everything about how things used to be and its kind of hard to handle.

Haha, hanging out with Scott that day was amazing though. Lindsay, Scott, Kurt, and I went to the very first Sonic that we've ever been too. It was everything I dreamed it could be, rollerskates and all. Then we drove around harassing innocent passerbys, a fun and not forgotten pastime. Airhorns are amazing. After Kurt and Scott peaced out, Linds and I went to Josh's place to help him paint a mural on his wall...with spray paint. Needless to say it was NOT the best plan and we ended up having to evacuate the apartment before we really even got started because of the fumes. Instead we went to the hookah bar, Lindsay had some terrible Egyptian coffee, and we all had some very interesting, very enlightening coversation. The evening ended with us trying to play the "ha" game on Josh's apartment floor...which was a miserable failure.

I've also started with a physical trainer (one of my gifts for Christmas.) Its fun. He's very encouraging and intimidating atthe same time. Also, my body huuuurts! I almost threw up twice while weight lifting and wanted to cry when I woke up the morning after. Its exciting though, and I feel very motivated.

I'm skipping all over the place and this entire entry is far from chronological, but New Years was interesting as well. See in Pittsburgh there's usually a count down and fireworks. Alas, this year the count down was unusually absent, (you'd think that its a pretty important part of New Years to include), and the fireworks were set off from inside the city, so unless you were in Market Square, you really could see them behind the buildings. So we missed New Years. Everyone was just kinhd of standing around looking at the clockson their cell phones like "that can't be right." Awesome. After that I went to a party all excited thinking that I would get to have a good time...nope. Almost everyone was passed out or leaving. HAPPY NEW YEARS!

Oh and I almost forgot. Because I wasn't really in a good place a few weeks ago, cuz of family issues and the like, Jimmy sent me a care package in the mail. =D It was the best surprise ever. I got fizzie bath bombs, a little cheese wedge to put on my non-existant car antenna, and a mixed CD of songs he thought I would like. It was an amazing start to a day that seemed like it was gonna be pretty crappy. Needless to say I've been in a pretty good mood since that day and things in my life seem pretty peachy. (Ignoring the fact that he's still so far away,I can't find a job, and my current one treats me like shit.) Hooray!
