What I've been up to lately
Now in backwards chronological format! With 20% more lists and lazy bulletpoints!
Today -- Wednesday
Spent most of today at aoi's house today, or at least a good chunk of it. Of course, I was raping her internets, and managed to party with her and drill in Rose Garden 2, as well as kill monsters that gave good EXP because of their high level and high HP. And, of course, I drilled up a bunch of 2nds that I need moffit to sell for me. XD! I already gave her a bunch of stuff when I first got on, but the drilling and killing just gave me more.
Since I had more galders in my pockets, I bought a few things. One was a badly compounded Pink Ice Ring for... I forget how much, but it was a steal. Way less than 1mil, IIRC. Someone compounded it for AP, but used Mantis Claws on the first slot instead of the Crow Claw. But they used the Crow Claw on the second slot. Aoi-chan immediately pounced on me for it, since the Ring gives good AC and she needs that for gunning. And Moff has my other Ring.
Also bought a Los Tres Amigos pet for only 14k. OMGOMGOMG! I checked the forums, and there was someone who was offering to buy one for 2mil. I AM SO HAPPY. Someone probably didn't know its price OR accidentally left off some zeroes and was trying to sell it for 1.4mil. TOO BAD IT'S MINE NOW. I'm gonna keep it forever as part of my pet collection (it's a past event item), though Dailan might end up using it for the DX and HP on it. Buffaloes need to be fast~
And I gained 1 level and 1 TMlvl. :3 ♥
The other highlight of the day was that it's windup_boytoy's birthday. ♥ I can't believe that he's been around for a year already. ^____^ So much has happened with him and it makes me (and him) happy.
Oh, and my neck doesn't hurt, finally.
Yesterday -- Tuesday
Uuurrrrr... didn't really do too much.
-- Did laundry
-- Uncles came over
-- had a delicious panini and french fries (must do food review of paninis)
-- flopped about online
-- printed out pictures from parents' trip
-- Uncles stayed the night because they (and my dad) got drunk XP
-- used Veet on my legs again, and am still not impressed with the results, though there was less burning this time. We have another tube of it in the bathroom, so I might as well just use it up for a long-term test, to see if it gets easier or makes the hair grow slower, etc. If not, I'll just go back to shaving.
-- neck still twingey if I turn it too far, but I think the hot shower helped
Monday
Not much done today. Parents were basically asleep the whole day, recovering from the trip. And dad had to wake up early to take the Priest-friend to the place where he's staying. He's sort of like a missionary and goes to different churches, and then he's going back to the Philippines again. I think.
My neck still hurt. ;__;
Sunday
Uhm. *thinks hard* Oh, right. This is when my parents and their friends came back from the trip and I cooked dinner. They ate it all, hahahaha, but my mom acted like a massive bitch during the whole thing. Thank go I'd eaten before they got here, so I didn't have to suffer through dinner with her. Beyond that, I didn't get to sleep until almost 4am, because I had to print out pictures from the trip for the Priest-friend, because he was going to take them as his copies.
Neck hurt still. x__X A good night's sleep didn't fix it.
Saturday
THIS WAS MY FUN DAY.
Even though it was cold, raining, and my neck hurt, I still went out shopping with aoi and sukino. ♥ ♥ ♥ Driving was interesting, considering that it was a trial for me to turn my head enough to look behind me and check my mirror. I kept having to ask them: "Am I clear?", "Is anyone behind me?", "OWOWOW!"
We had lunch first at PF Chang's. At first we were gonna go to Cheesecake Factory, but PF Chang's was there and the prices are about the same, so we decided to go for chinese. So much fun was had and I think we were pretty loud. XD! But the green tea I had was very delicious, as was the cashew&almond chicken. We also shared our food around, since I forgot that they serve almost family-style. We had two boxes of food left over, too. Thank god it was cold, so the food stayed in the car and didn't go bad. :P
Shopping was much fun. I bought the Estee Lauder foundation that I wanted, and got the free gift that I came for. :Db I even got to sit on the chair and one of the makeup experts cleaned my face of my foundation/coverup and matched the exact shade of foundation I needed. I felt very pampered, and I was glad that she helped me figure out the right color of foundation to get. Usually it's a crapshoot with me, because of my skin. The lady told me that's because I have both yellow and pink undertones to my skin, so it's a tossup. But I looked REALLY nice once she was done. It looked like I wasn't wearing anything! Even Pet and Aoi-chan said that it was an improvement. They did try to upsell me, but I didn't go for it. Yay for me.
We also had fun getting Pet pretty. ♥~ She was able to get a REALLY nice suit (with a discount, though getting it on sale would've been better, damn that fine print) and it looks so cute on her. ♥ Aoi-chan, unfortunately, didn't buy the cute jumper dress that she tried on. But now she knows her size at Ann Taylor Loft. XD!
AND PUPPIES ALWAYS MAKE EVERYONE HAPPY. ♥
Cookies and an Icee from Mrs. Field's was a good snack and provided enough substance for me to not pass out. ^__^ Then we headed back to my house and pretty much hung out until midnight, watching TV and making fun of what we saw.
It was a good day.
