Live Beta Writing Workshop
Hi everybody! I'll be hosting a writing workshop this year at Wincon, and I wanted to invite you to join us for some live beta-ing!
The format is very simple. We'll meet, break into groups, read our work aloud to our groups, and receive/offer feedback on the read selections. This will be a space for constructive criticism and collective brainstorming, and of course for squee too!
Bring up to 3 pages of your writing, as your reading should be no longer than 5 minutes. Please bring printed copies of your selection, enough for five people. I can help you get copies made; just find me before the workshop. Printed copies help everybody follow along with your reading and allow for written comments that can be returned to you afterward.
All fandoms are welcome, and there are no limits as to rating, etc. If you have no writing and just want to join in to give feedback, you should totally come too!
