Superbowl XLV!!!
Anyone who really knows me knows I am not a football fan. I don't understand it, I don't like it, I find it quite pointless honestly. Basketball is more my sport. However, today there is a pretty big event going on called the Superbowl. There will be loud, raucous yelling for Packers or Steelers (neither whom I care about) and there will be lots of junk food eating and laughing at various advertisements.
What I'm thoroughly excite for however is the fact that I am really good friends with many who are performing tonight in the pre-game songs. I am even related to 2 of them!!!!!!!!
You see my older brother is in the U.S. Air Force. He has been touring worldwide doing a show with just under 40 other airmen&women. The group is called Tops in Blue and tonight at around 6pm EST he, his best friend, and wife (along with the rest of the group) will be standing up there at the 50 yard line singing America the Beautiful with actress Lea Michele from Glee fame.
I have just found a fantastic reason to watch the superbowl.

This one is a pretty decent one of my sister-in-law. She was right behind Lea Michele and ended up with alot of camera time compared to my brother. She's the tall red-head. short bobbed hairstyle.
