WOW. How much did I miss?!

I know, i know. Too long since I've been on LJ. But I really have spent the last few months just getting better and back on track with my bypass finally having been done.
Food is still touch and go, but I am managing atleast two very small meals a day now, so my doctor is letting me off the small amount of diabetic meds he put me back on (SCORE!)
As for the weight loss, I'm now at the 9 stone mark!
My mind was blown just to hit 5! Let alone 9!
I'm actually wearing a pair of jeans I haven't fit into since I was 22!
Moving on though, my icon making skills are really starting to get rusty, and when I opened photoshop yesterday I just stared at it for ten minutes in frustration, before I proceeded to do a Delena manipulation instead.
I'm thinking this next art post I'm going to do a couple of manipulation icons and maybe some blank worded signature banners, that people can just edit with their own words on top of them etc?
If you've got any particular manips or pairings/crossover couples you'd like to see, then just leave a comment below and I'll see what I can come up with.
One last comment is to say that yes, I am sending cards again this year to my usual suspects, nelliewu & dhfreak, but I will send to anyone who would like to exchange with me? Just leave me a PM with your address and let me know about it with a quick comment, as I don't always check messages straight away and might miss it.
As for posting, I believe the deadline for the Royal Mail is early this year, so any requests need to be made before the 10th at the very latest!
Either way, I want to say happy thanksgiving/Hanukkah/merry Christmas & a happy new year to everyone on livejournal.
