"This one's different from the ones I usually wear." Dean shifted a little against the starched collar; Sam rolled his eyes and reached to adjust it for him.

"Different how?"

"I DUNNO!" Dean snapped. "It's just different, alright?"

His brother looked at him squarely, and he fidgeted. "Hey, you okay? I mean, with the whole... wedding thing?"

Dean glared; he was doing this and he knew why and wanted it. Still... strange.

Then they were both silent for a bit.

"Hey Sammy?"

"Yeah?"

"About the suit..."

"What about it?"

"I think... I think it might be because it actually fits."

Dean blinked into the teary eyes of his daughter in unfeigned surprise. "Sweetheart, what happened? Lia, talk to me, okay?"

"Peter... Peter tore my dress, daddy." She demonstrated the front of her costume, torn clearly and showing the bright lining. "I can't... I can't go out on the stage like this! I can't!"

"Hey, calm down, baby. Calm down." He took a look around, then bent to furtively ask her to go find needle and thread from somebody and meet him in the bathroom.

He really hoped nobody would come in and find him crouching before her and carefully darning.
