So, campers! we hope you've all had a happy and restful holiday season. Happy New Year, everyone. We've received a few emails here and there regarding the con, so here's a few questions answered:
Are we planning a con this year?
Yes.
Where will it be?
The east coast for sure, 95% probability of Boston. We are still working out location ideas. Feel free to chime in in comments with your suggestions if you wish.
How much will it cost?
That's something we probably won't be able to tell you until next month or so, when we have the hotel locked in. We expect an increase from last year, just like there was an increase from the year before that, but we're also planning on expanding the con this year to have more activities for every kind of fan. So stay tuned.
When will it be?
This is where we need your help. We are considering moving the con to August for the sake of college kids, fan moms with school kids, and the whole lot of us who work at schools. So we have a poll for you:

Will Jared and/or Jensen be there?
No. This con has always been a by the fans, for the fans operation. Our goal is to provide an annual gathering for SPN fans (focused around the livejournal community but certainly anyone can come, we aren't too picky) to come and meet, hang out, discuss the show and the fic written about it, party and have a good time. In other words, a giant slumber party where we can all do the fannish things we do online in person and in our pajamas. There are plenty of other cons out there now where the boys will make appearances. They are costly affairs with a lot more logistical support than we have the time to spare or the money to pay out for professional assistance. If one of you can manage to kidnap a J and stuff him in your suitcase, then that's another story entirely. Also, wasn't someone working on a robot?
