In different circumstances,with a different tone of voice, or said by someone else, it might have seemed like a compliment. As is, it just makes Dean want to punch him as he tried to steal his bar of soap back from the demon.
And then Crowley dropped it.
Dean tried to catch it, hand grasping and fingers trying to close around it, but it simply slipped out of his fingers and fell onto the porcelain basin of the tub, resting between the demon's feet over the drain. Part of him wanted to retrieve it, knowing that leaving it sitting it in water can have unpleasant results.
However, Dean is neither innocent, nor naive. And considering that when his angry hazels slid down to the bar of soap, they momentarily end up caught on what is surely Crowley's most impressive physical attribute, Dean is also very aware of what level that would put him on.
The way the Crossroads King said 'Oops' is absolutely infuriating because it made it even more clear that he did it on purpose, and that he was making exactly the wicked reference Dean thought he was. And makes it even less safe to attempt to retrieve it.
And so, that leaves Dean standing face-to-face with a naked demon. He briefly considers backing up, but that seems almost like retreating, and that strikes him as just as dangerous when facing Crowley.
Dean's tee-shirt is soaked through to his skin, and his denims are almost skin-tight from the water. He tries to look angry and aloof, tries to look as if Crowley doesn't make him feel uncomfortable with how close they are.
This works about as well as usual.
"Do you have hearing problems? I told you to get out," Dean reiterates, trying to make it sound menacing.
