It is a tribute to my favorite comics - Frank Miller's Sin City.
Since Sam the vessel is such a jealous bitchy spoiled brother, I imagine Lucifer sharing the same personality with him and plays tricks with Michael :D
I know Gabriel is dead. Adam was the official vessel of Michael in 5x22 Swan Song, but I love Gabby and want to see a Dean!Michael. You can see this comic as an AU.
Who knows? Maybe Jensen will play this character one day.
