I forgot Em do has a REAL struggling love life. He just keeps it low-profile now instead of displaying it to the public like a Hollywood pro. That's what I like about him.
But this song is about domestic violence, which is what Em with his ex-wife Kim and Rihanna with her ex Chris Brown familiar with.
"[Eminem] pretty much just broke down the cycle of domestic violence and it's something that a lot people don't have a lot of insight on," Rihanna told Access Hollywood, "So this song is a really, really powerful song and it touches a lot of people."
Like ALL of Eminem's songs, even though it's a song about "love", Love the Way You Lie has a meaningful message.
I also love the fact that Megan donated her paycheck to a woman's shelter.
The fighting/kissing/burning scenes give a great visual effect. Plus Megan Fox and Dominic Monaghan make the MV more drama-like. Good acting.
Rihanna in underpants and Em in a wifebeater complete the theme of this song.
Commercial or not, I like it.
