I’m not normally a darkfic or a whumpage lover, so I’m surprised by how much I really enjoyed this story.

Great casefic! Really unique twist on what dilemma they have to face; fantastic characterizations; the tone matches the show’s monster-hunting roots. Angsty, but in a genuine way, not an overly melodramatic way. Very NC-17. Be warned: non-con. It’s not exactly brutal (i.e. no Hell torture), but there is definitely a major consent issue. The story is dark, but totally worth it!
