I was just teasing, my friend. Why be serious about it? Clearly they aren't exactly men of manners. I doubt they can be reasoned with, if they simply kick others in the face out of the blue. So it is simply a matter of dealing with them, yes?

That and perhaps getting you a weapon. If this is going to keep happening, you will need a way to defend yourself!

Whatever you would be comfortable with! Preferably something easy to learn to use effectively, of course. A weapon you cannot use well, you may as well not have at all.

That depends on the level of proficiency you wish. A gun is easy in that it is point and shoot; a knife is easy so long as you know which end you stick in people. Of course, there are many degrees of skill within those things, and the most basic knowledge would not be enough against an opponent of any ability.
