*Conrad perks up at the sound of footsteps passing by his house. His glasses glint in the darkness as he stands up. He wills himself to stay where he is, hugging his arms and biting his lower lip, blood leaking from his lower lip thanks to his snaggle tooth*

*HE COVERS his mouth, and tries to still his own breathing. No no. He can just hear the guy's heart beat in his head. It just pounded against his own goddamn skull.*

*HE MAKES A BREAK FOR HIS HOUSE DOOR, sprinting across the lawn!*

*he stops, noticing he had been spotted, and forgets about the closed door, slamming into it and falling back onto his porch with a shout*

*He stares at him and scrambles to his feet facing him, his back slightly hunched, his breathing labored*

W-What do you want?!
