It is with great sadness and a heavy heart, that I must announce that on saturday evening, May 18th, 2008; William (Billy) Embley left our world behind. For those of us who were lucky enough to have known him, The world has become a smaller place. I, for one, will miss his quick wit and charm. No matter what challenges facing him or his friends, he always had an encouraging word, a quick smile, and/or a unique insight to offer.

Visitation will be at 10:00 am with a service to follow at 11:00 on Friday, May 23rd, at St. Martin's Episcopal Church, at 2216 Metairie Road. You can read his obituary in the Wed, May 21st volume of the Times Picayune or;
