Yes, I love Johnny Depp (not to mention Helena Bonham Carter) (oh yah, and Alan Rickman) and would happily pay to have (or be) his (or her) (or his) love child. And yes, I'm well aware that there's a long, long line ahead of me for any one of those positions.
I'm going to see Sweeney Todd tonight and have no doubts I'll enjoy it.
I don't however, see how it cn top the the brilliance of the Broadway version (with George Hearne and Angela Lansbury) I saw in "81.
