Pit of Black Hearts Pt. 7 of 7 (Paper Entry) {The return home and IC action}

The moment I had reached Wrath's Chamber, I was met with a fist to the face. No words were exchanged, just violence. I barely had time to react other than to put my hand up to my face in reaction and stumble back. The pain was terrible and the blow caused my eyes to water though the blows didn't stop there. I felt another blow hit my gut that caused the wind to force out of my lungs. I doubled over and then another blow between my shoulder blades had caused be to fall face first onto the stone.

This Sin wasn't playing. I turned my head to cough when I felt myself being grabbed roughly by my jacket and I was forced onto my feet and against the wall, hard. It was then that the first words were exchanged by this one. "You're weak. I can kill you easily," Wrath said.

His black eyes were like staring into nothingness. His clothes matched his eyes and not a bit of color was on this one and yet...I had to say something. I could taste the blood in my mouth from the blows and I spat to get the taste out. The sharp metallic taste was enough for me and it was causing me to gag.

"I look good in black," good lord, did I just say that? I had no idea if it was the delirium that was settling in or I was really that exhausted but it only angered Wrath as he pulled me from the wall and sent me across the room with a growl.

"Don't mock me!" he growled.

I really wasn't mocking but I knew that he was mad. Wrath is always mad so no matter what I said, he was just going to get angry anyway. I turned my head quickly to see if I was able to see anything and it was then that I caught sight of weapons along the wall. Okay, now it was time to work. He came at me and I rolled to the side to get away. The force of the downward blow that he was about to deliver was only met by the stone floor and I really couldn't tell if he was in pain or not from the crack that I heard.

I was too interested to grab a weapon from the wall than to look over my shoulder to find out and I certainly wasn't going to ask if he was okay either. I grabbed the first weapon I saw which was a halberd. The long pole ax was the rather heavy and cumbersome but he was coming at me in a hurry and I had to act fast.

I moved to the side, which wasn't the smartest of moves I soon found out, as he grabbed two swords. I held my weapon up like a staff and parried his on coming attacks. Sure, I wasn't trained formally and yes, I was sore from my previous engagement with the Sin, but I had to try.

Each attack he gave was precise. I wasn't going to let him take me either. "I'll kill you, take you over, then I'll reign my destruction upon your world by killing those you hold so dear. Once I am done with them, I'm going to take your daughter and teach her how to use her anger properly. She's such a marvelous example of rage. The women in your life will become my personal harem." he growled.

Then I thought,"...why do villains always have to monologue?"

"Not gonna happen," I retorted and kicked him hard to get him away from me as I spun around and used the ax head to cut his stomach. I then kept into the momentum of the spin to deliver a kick to the Sin's head and knocking him into the fire pit in the center of the room.

The fight went on much longer than what I retell here and it will forever be burned into my mind. It was here that I had doubled over and lost what little was left from the contents of my stomach. I never thought that I would have to physically kill anyone. Sin or no Sin, he was still humanoid.

I rolled onto my back and passed out. When I came to, I was in my Chocolate Meadow and surrounded by the Oompa Loompas. I had no idea how long I was out nor did I know how long I was gone from reality. Was it all just a bad dream? The moment I tried to move, I knew then that it wasn't and I was in terrible pain.

Teller Loompa approached me and he had a very concerned look on his face. "Can you tell us a story?" he asked. I then pulled out my notebook and opened the pages and began to tell my tale.
