Part XI: Bittersweet-ish
It's happening--for the first half term, at least. There are clashes in timetables, but the teachers don't mind about those as long as I "show the dedication needed" and make up for everything in my spare time. If, after the first half term, it hassn't worked out, then I'll go back to an all-Wallington subject, like German.
I just...oh, Cambridge. A three-year love affair doesn't end just like that, after all. I mean, I'll be happy at UCL if I get in, but--I genuinely thought I had a chance.
Oh well. Epilogue cometh after half term.
